In randomised controlled trials, students using SpringMath are half as likely to fail mathematics assessments. Students in the United States and Canada reached skill mastery milestones over 1.4 million times during the 2025–26 school year. ![03-practical-time](https://impactgo.au/hubfs/03-practical-time.svg) ### Teacher-led, 15 minutes a day Teachers lead every routine using scripted lessons and paper-based practice materials, not another screen for students to log into. SpringMath gives teachers a clear roadmap every week for precisely which maths skills each student needs to strengthen.   # How it works # SpringMath runs on a continuous cycle: screen, teach, monitor, adjust. Universal screening SpringMath screens every student three times a year to identify maths risk, using highly sensitive measures to detect risk that may not even be noticeable yet to a teacher. Behind the scenes, SpringMath identifies the instructional action a teacher should take. Tier 1.5: classwide intervention Based on the screening data, SpringMath automatically generates scripted lessons for teachers and paper-based practice materials for students that target the skills the whole class needs support to master. If more than 50% of a class has not mastered a year-level skill, classwide intervention lessons and materials are generated for the teacher. Tier 2 and 3: small group and individual intervention SpringMath automatically identifies who is responding to intervention and who isn't, then generates the next week's classwide, small group and individual intervention routines and student materials based on those data. Because classwide gaps are addressed first, fewer students go on to need intensive Tier 2 and Tier 3 support. Progress monitoring Response to intervention is calculated weekly based on students' daily practice which serves as built-in progress monitoring. There is no separate assessment to administer, and no waiting a term to find out whether an intervention is working. Leadership support School and system leaders can support teachers through access to real-time data on student growth and implementation across every classroom, to drive effective use everywhere.
